About Me

I’m Cassandra. I’m nineteen and I want to be a writer more than anything in the world. I can’t fall asleep when it’s quiet and I have to jump to my bed after turning off the light because I’m scared hands will reach out and grab my feet. I love cats, the colour green, Superwholock, tortellini, and ‘o’ words more than I love actual people. I’m terrible at giving advice, but I’m a good listener (sometimes). I listen to Christmas music year-round and I’m easily amused and still collect Tamagotchis and Pokemon cards. I'm a video game freak, particularly concerning Legend of Zelda, Skyrim (or anything Bethesda), Assassins Creed, and Star Ocean.

I’m impossibly passionate about everything and say ‘That’s my favourite!’ to most anything, so conveying what my real favourites are is difficult.

My fandoms have reached over and possessed my cats, and thus their names are Sherlock and Gallifrey Lestrade Winchester (he goes by Tiny G). If I could, I would have ten-thousand cats and we would live together forever in happy kitten-heaven. But alas, I only have three. (The third is Silver, but I got her pre-fangirl period).

My favorite movie of all time, ever ever ever, is National Treasure. Don’t laugh. Zodiac is a close runner-up. I love Blink-182, Bach, Styx, Foreigner, Pachelbel, and I Hate Kate. I have this strange addiction to children's shows, and find myself religiously keeping up with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Sofia the First, both of which I love and keep soundtracks of in my car. Who, by the way, is named Arnbjorn, after the werewolf husband of Astrid, leader of the Dark Brotherhood from Skyrim.

I’m sort-of socially awkward during the day and I don’t like the colour yellow. I was raised in Somerset West, South Africa, and thus spell everything the British way (or the correct way, depending on how you feel about it). I don't tolerate jerks even though I am one, and I think that bowties are cool.
That’s about it.
I think.
